The Erasmus Programme is a European Union student exchange programme established in 1987. Erasmus+, or Erasmus Plus, is the new programme combining all the EU’s current schemes for education, training, youth and sport, which was started in January 2014. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Its budget of \u20ac14.7 billion will provide opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The main aims of Erasmus+ :<\/p>\n

  • Help young people to acquire additional skills through studying and training abroad<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Enhance teaching quality in the EU and beyond<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support member states and partner countries in modernising their education and vocational training systems<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Promote youth participation in society<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support teaching and research on European integration<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support European grass-roots sport<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Projects funded under this key action enable participants to travel to another participating country in order to study, work, teach, train, or develop professional skills and competencies.<\/span><\/li>\n
